For example, if a poem is just a collection of short descriptive lines, I would find it difficult to truly 'understand' the poem.Thirdly, in the poem, the first line introduces the poem. In other words, the poem begins with a very short line. The first line in fact introduces the poem. For those that are struggling to understand the significance of the poem, their second to last line would be the best place to start.Finally, when it comes to comparing poems in a poetry reading experience, it is critical to pay atte ntion to the ordering of the elements. For example, in a classic 'a is for apple' poem, the poem begins with an a. A is for apple because the apple represents the poem's message and its theme. It is critical to recognize the theme of the poem at the beginning and end of the experience.Next, find your friends that like to read poetry and discuss the pros and cons of comparing poems. Even better, find a friend that can explain the process to you in great detail.
